Spain over Russia: 3-0

Sure, we had a lot of fun meeting SYA teachers, chatting with Maria, and making our first visit to Expo.  But, nothing compared to the street madness starting at around 23:30 when everyone in the country seemed to know at exactly the same time that ... Spain advances to the Eurocup Final!!  The major streets were closed to support the hoards of screaming supporters.  Flags, horns, smiles.  Even dressed-up dogs.

Expo offered much more architectural excitement than either Robyn or Jenny expected.  The integration
of technology for displays, structures, dealing with huge numbers of people management in high temperature and possibly wet spaces is really quite amazing.  All around a theme of water, the various countries' pavilions showed how they are / can conserver AND use water in better ways.
Tomorrow, we'll try for an earlier start.

Manny was so excited about the Spain win. He said it was the "men" playing the "boys". Manny was watching with his slingbox to his mobile phone. what a "hip" guy.

For sure. People went nuts and newspapers are full of excitement. That could be why today, Saturday, was the busiest yet at Expo -- with everyone needing a BIG distraction before tomorrow.
We're travelling to BCN, before the game. If Spain wins, the Ramblas will be even more uncontrollable.
